オルゴールの小さな博物館は、 ２０１３年５月１５日をもって閉館いたしました。

オルゴールの小さな博物館は昭和５８年、
日本で初めてのオルゴールの博物館として開館しました。
当時は、誰もが「オルゴールといえば、単純な音楽を奏でる小箱」という時代。
そんな時代にアンティーク・オルゴールを初めて聴いたときの感動を
ひとりでも多くの方に伝えたいと願って
80台程のコレクションを公開する、小さなプライベート博物館を開きました。

あれから３０年。
日本の各地にオルゴール博物館が開館し、
多くの方々がアンティーク・オルゴールに出会い、オルゴール・ファンもいっぱいになりました。
プライベート博物館として頑張って参りましたが、
３０周年がフィナーレを迎える ちょうど良い節目と考え 博物館を閉館することなりました。


多くの皆様に応援していただき、３０年もの長い間、続けてこれましたこと
心から感謝しております。

Our museum has closed its doors forever on May 15th, 2013.
Since 1983, we have been managing the museum
with much responsibility and pride to hold the first music box museum in Japan
but through the time we got old and it became a heavy duty to maintain it for us.
And we reached a conclusion to close it on the 30th anniversary.
We deeply appreciate your hearty support to us.
Your support always gives us much encouragement and power.
We know without your support, it was difficult to hold the museum.
